At the start of the new year, my family took a trip down to the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, and Los Angeles. It was a really good time, and here are some pics:
We started in Las Vegas, aka the most depressing city in the US.
The light on the sidewalk in this picture is actually a reflection from one of the many golden buildings.
Photo of me, randomly taken by my brother.
Cactus! I love cacti very, very much.
We went to Bedrock City, a Flinstones-themed park and replica of the town.
It was just outside of the grand canyon & we went in on an impulse. It turned out being positively magical.
We were there when the sun was setting and everything was unreal.
Pulling out of Bedrock city after the sun set, the neon signs were still lit even though the city was closed.
Driving though Death Valley after a rainfall.
My brother, shimmying up a rock chute in Death Valley.
Sand dunes. The best part of the whole trip.
My siblings on a hike at sunset.
This was taken of my sister's boots outside the Los Angeles Art Museum.
Walking down Sunset boulevard at sunset.

Throughout the trip I took some video clips, for reasons that weren't clear to me. When I came home I realized that I had taken quite a few, so I stitched them together and made this here video, set to my favorite song at the time of the trip. (The video is uploading in really shitty quality, so I apologize.)
Here it is:
That's a wrap!
